Crossroads has completed two CD-ROMs for Bayer,
Crossroads has recently developed the Bayer Crop Protection CD-ROM. The CD-ROM has been developed utilising Web technologies. The CD-ROM content covers some 100 Crops, information on some 80 Bayer products, and some 250 insects and mites, weed types, and diseases affecting crops. The CD-ROM creates a comprehensive cross reference of Product information relative to a particular crop, weed, disease or insect and mite, and has some 7,000 cross links. The Bayer Product information covers, general instructions, directions for use, compatibility, safety directions, literature, specific crop information, storage and disposal, withholding periods and videos. The CD-ROM also contains labels (in Adobe Acrobat format), of Bayer products that are both viewable and printable using the software included on the CD-ROM. The disease, weeds, and insect and mites information contains descriptions, images and the Bayer product relevant for use specific to the particular crop. There is a powerful search facility enabling searches across the content on the CD-ROM. There are approximately 1150 images, 4700 (HTML) pages, in excess of 100 product labels and literature files, video and audio contained on this version of the Bayer Crop Protection CD-ROM.
Bayer Lipobay CD-ROM The Bayer Lipobay CD-ROM was developed as a sales aid for sales representatives involved in the Lipobay product. The CD-ROM utilises a conventional sales presentation vehicle augmented by interactive features that utilise mpeg video to support the product. The sales presentation can be run interactively slide by slide, or setup to run with a voice over for trade shows or interactive kiosk. |
